Wells cathedral

A picture of Wells Cathedral, framed by trees, as seen from the Bishop's Palace

Wells Cathedral

This is Wells Cathedral in Somerset seen from The Bishops Palace in Wells.

It was a murky day when I took this picture in August 2012; It would have been so much nicer if there had been a touch of blue in the sky but there are at least some nice reflections in the pond.

  1. all around a wonderful shot, I enjoy the murky sky. The framing of the composition (pine branch, water, path) work very well together with the primary subject (the garden, the cathedral).

wonderful. first class indeed wot wot.

  2. This is so beautiful. I love the colours, very peaceful and serene. My father is moving back to Somerset, hopefully Ilminster very soon after 39 years, so lovely to see this. Thank you for your “like” on my blog.
