Bullrush with Bokeh

I found this bullrush growing in a little pond in the corner of a playground in Knebworth Hertfordshire in April 2011. I used my Tamron 70-300mm Macro zoom to set to f/5.6 and 300mm to throw the background out of focus.

  • Pentax K200D
  • Tamron 70-300mm Macro zoom
  • f/5.6
  • 1/320
  • iso400
  • 300mm

  1. Nice, soft and sunny bokeh, Simon. Makes me want go out; but unfortunately it’s dark and Grey over here. Cheers, harrie.

  2. That worked out really well. Good colours.
